Yea you would want to regear haha. Jon with his 5speed had not much power. But he did grandma it enough that he could still pull20mpg or better with my tires

You'd be surprised how easily you stuff large tire on the Toyota Pickups. All you have to do is crank up the torsion bars and you can fit 35's

He already has 4.56's, I don't think 4.88's will make much difference for him. Do they make 5.29's for your front diffs or is 4.88 as low as it goes?

Yea but that auto tranny with the 4 banger is a bad combo lol yes we can get 5.29. It was Jon and Silas are running. Jon doesn't think he needed the 5.29s and kinda wished he hadn't due to such high rpms on hwy now. But he is a manual. Why I'm opting for 4.88s with my 35s. Silas on the other hand says they are perfect but he is an auto

I see. I am under the impression that 5.29's won't physically fit the 2nd gen clamshell.
Maybe our clamshells are about the same size and since your ring gear is smaller you can fit the 5.29's in.

Yea they don't make 5.29s for 2nd gens.

Silas and I and another dude were talking about swapping in an 8" diff in a 1st gen truck as they are stronger and better CVs for a locked LT front end. If I can find one cheap I'd try it out

$800 for Ben's tires. Says they are only about 2 months old and have few miles. 5 of them, 4 with rims.

What do you think about this? $100 for all 4 tires (35x12.50R17) with rims (FJC steelies).

Right here in my town. I am tempted to offer him $75 for them just to get the rims. Plus I could use the tires as test fits to clear for bigger tires.
