Sure thing, doesn't even scratch the paint on the bumper.. I just make sure I hit it on the corners if I'm going to... A deer is the reason I have my bumper to begin with! & I've hit 3 so far this yr not including the one last yr that caused the new bumper.. If I'm gonna hit em I just try to make sure they won't hit my new lightbar!

Yea my front end would be toast if i hit a deer with any amount of speed...but then again it would give me an excuse for a new bumper and satoshi grille!

Haha when I hit my first one it destroyed my satoshi and hella black magics but got lucky and it didn't bust the hid bulbs in them.. & my deductible was as muh as a new bumper so I said what the hell. The first and last one I hit was at abt 45-50 but two were at 35 or so and nothing other than free jerky meat and hair stuck in my fairlead

Hahah im eating jerky right now. I hit a deer with my stock bumper at about 35mph in the hind end and sent it flying but didnt even scratch, dent, or bend my stock bumper in any way.

On another note my truck went in the shop today and will be done tomorrow with new tie rods and a new rack an pinion.

Got the truck back from the shop today and there's some new hardware under there. It looks all nice and shiney with no rust at all. Doing the bootslide mod tomorrow. I got 4 hose lamps today and we will see how it goes.

Somehow I never saw you reply. Anyways regarding the bootslide mod... The bootslide went fine on the boots closest to the center of the vehicle. I believe they are called "outer". On the other boots were a PITA. I was running out of time so I didn't get to finish both. I only finished the passenger side and today I checked my CV's at the mall and noticed a small cut in the top of one fin. Denifatly not from rubbing or tearing. Looks to me like someone cut it. Anyways there is now the puke of grease all over my truck. I got a quote for 5 hours of labor just for fun when the truck got out of the shop last and I am getting another from a smaller Toyota specialized shop to get them replaced. Ok I think that's more than enough for now.

yea i wouldnt have even screwed with the boots. the way i look at it is drive it til something happens. but keep up normal maintenance, i was lookin yesterday at my 4-wheeler, and the boots on it, like every fin is rubbing, its 4x4 all time, and I GIVE IT HECK!!! so youd think id have ripped a boot by now, and my buddy has a rhino and they rip boots all the time.

Your probably right about the eibachs over lifting. If I had to do my lift again I would run OME. But on the bright side the truck is going in the shop on Monday for new axles and boots. Doing bootslide right away to make my money last as long as possible. I need to find another job to keep my truck running right.

Thanks. I really want a trail gear bumper or relentless one. But don't have the cash. Maybe I can weld me up one someday.

Its been good. The Coils have settled and the new boots and axles are doing great. The truck drives like a dream. I disconnected my sway bar and the truck handles different but nothing scary at all. Im hoping for a magnaflow soon and some lights within the next month. Im working all Christmas break so maybe I will buy me something nice with the money.

The truck looks good. They only settled a little bit. Im guessing a quarter inch max. But it could just be that im getting used to the new ride height.

Im waiting to run these tires down all the way before I upgrade. If i do get new rims im going to do rims and wheels all at one time. So its going to be a good 5 or 6 months. But i may rattle can them. I cant decide.
