Is this the Gen 3 unit? I thought the G3 was going to run on Android OS. This one still says Windows 6.0.

Will this unit only work with iphone / ipod or will android phones work as well?

Also, does the pricing from original post in Aug still apply? Definately interested now that it is satellite radio ready.

Also, did not see how the sat radio works in the video. I assume the sat radio option would be in the radio screen. I did not see a button on the side of the screen for sat radio.

Do I need to buy anything else besides the SCC1 tuner and subscription to get the sat radio working? I already have the factory antenna for it.

Last question for now - are these in stock currently? If not, when do you expect to have more available?

    (1) This is not the GEN 3. This is still THE GEN 2 just WITH XM/SATELLITE radio.

    (2) Unit works with any smartphone...Android/iPhone/iPad/Blackberry

    (3) No. Everything for satellite radio to work is included.

Ok, thanks but still a couple un-answered questions:

Does pricing from Aug 15 still apply? $799 shipped for sat ready version? Any more discount if I do not want the free back up camera?

Do you have any in stock?

Sorry, you said everything for sat ready version to work is included in the box - does that mean the SCC1 tuner is included? I'm unclear only because of the way I worded the question originally.

Can anyone explain what wires marked #5 are for?

    #1 is Ipod
    #2 connects to Sirius tuner
#3 connects to XM tuner (only #2 or #3 is used, not both)
    #4 connects to head unit
    #5 ????

On the website, they are just coiled up with the HU connection wire but not attached to anything.
Also, the shark fin antenna adapter should plug into the SCC1 tuner correct?

Just doing some research ahead of time. Wife says the HU and SCC1/SFA were delivered today - Plan to tackle the install this weekend but wanted to have some idea what I was getting into before opening up the dash.

So do these 3 wires (red, yellow and black) need to be connected to something for the interface to function? I thought this was plug and play. If these 3 wires need to be connected, I'm going to need to splice into something else. Or is connection #4 all that is needed?

All installed today :). Hardest part was running the mircrophone, gps antenna, sat radio antenna wires. I did have to splice in the 3 wires on the sat radio interface to get power to the module. At first, did not have video on the dvd but after grounding the pink wire, all is good. Everything seems to work but I still need to go through some menus to figure out some settings. Cant' get voice directions on the navi. Sound is on and I get a chime sound when it wants to tell me something but no voice. The speaker icon on the screen has a red line through it and I haven't figured out how to activate it yet. Other than that, it's all good. DVD, bluetooth, ipod, navi, sat and FM radio. I will post some more detail on the install when I get a chance.

Just got my Otto navi system installed and I am having issues with the volume. You can't adjust it, it's other muted or on max volume. Was wondering if this is a simple fix or do I have to send it back.
