Jim, sorry for the loss of your friend.

I have a good friend who has ALS (possibly from agent orange) and he will be lucky to make it to spring.

    Not mine! You want?

Actually it's a picture of a wild bobcat that was abandoned by it's mother, and raised at an animal rescue facility in the county next to us.
They had to tranquilize it to be able to put it back in the wild, as it was "still mean and definatelly not humanized".
Just thought it was a neat pic. of a critter with that "don't even think of it" look!

Nope, no thanks... He looked wild. If he's that wild then the rescue did a great job raising him not to be good with humans

Morning Tom, plenty of junk food businesses are hurting because of eating healthy...I occasionally have that lapse in eating healthy and binge on some unhealthy twinkies, Tastycakes, DQ blizzards, etc.Etc....it's my one weakness I guess...better than sneaking that cigarette(been off them for 24 yrs.) Wow, isn't it ironic? Hostess shuts down Twinkie production weeks after 2 States legalize marijuana.

I guess pizza sales will jump in those States, now.

    Morning all:
    Just hope tastycakes aren't next!

Don't really think that eating healthy has that much to do with what what happened. Go into most convenience stores; they look like a junk food smorgasboard! < May have butchered that one. Wasn't in the dictionary.:D
But remember. I was a BM, I have an excuse!

Ding Ding Ding we have a winner. The only real losers are the workers. Some other company may buy them yet but you can almost bet the other comany only wants the name. Production will be moved to a different location.

One article I read said they'd been taken over by at least two different management companies. Workers said they've already made a lot of concessions, and couldn't afford any more.

Two or three years ago, a lot of workers at different companies took pay cuts, benefit cuts to keep their job. Now that the companies are doing better, do you think their benefits/pay have been restored? or has management just taken the $$$
