I just changed mine out at 42,000 miles about two weeks ago. I have a 2006 and they were beginning to dry-rot, plus i had some toe-in and it wore the outside shoulders noticeably. They definately made for a harsh ride compared to new Coopers they were replaced with.

That's exactly what I'm seeing on mine.

    Yeah.
Yeah, I ran 2-3psi above recommended pressure and all but one wore evenly. It was the one making all the noise that they refused to replace. It was bald on the outside edge at about 40K when I replaced them.

Interesting, I ran my Dunlops at 35psi and the front tire shoulders wore out at 40k.
Maybe alignment on all the trucks is off or it's just the nature of the AT20 tires?

My tread on the front shoulders wore down by 1/4 at 3500 miles.

Alignment. My truck with the stock suspension from the factory had an extreme amount of positive camber and toe-in. Under that condition any tire's shoulders will wear off.

Beating a dead horse here, but we've had enough rain in NorCal to wash out the surface oils from the pavement and my dunlops get THE WORST wet traction that I've ever experienced. I had to focus hard on NOT spinning the tires every single time I left a stop. Not exaggerating.

You have to be careful when running these trucks on wet roads with road tires. I replaced my Dunlops with Generals and they are a little better but not much. But it's not the tire's fault. Unloaded trucks are light in the ass end. You cannot drive them like other vehicle types. Every day it rains I see spun out trucks on freeway on-ramps. Seems too many truck owners don't get it.

What is good about these trucks is the drive by wire gas pedal that allows critical control of the throttle. This makes it easy to avoid losing traction.

I have had my '12 almost a year and I have about 13k on it and the OE tires. They are decent tires in that they do not make much noise on the road and seem to be wearing pretty well. I have not had them in the snow or done any real off roading. They do pretty well on gravel though. I would love to replace them with something more aggressive and a little larger but like several others have said I can't justify doing so until these wear out.
