    I forgot, it isn't your weekend. Doesn't feel like mine either. Got dragged into the wifes OCD when it comes to cleaning. Her fault the house was a mess. I haven't even been home the past 2 months to get it dirty!

    i recycle everything but glass - no one here will take it anymore. i recycle about 60% of my garbage though - paper, plastic, cans...

    :notsure: the county used to collect it and then a local cement plant would take it and crush it but they stopped doing that. once a year the city has a "get off your glass" collection day and they bring trucks in from out of state to pick it up. I was running out of room to keep glass bottles for a whole year so I just stopped keeping them.

    I know! There is a place here that makes the concrete countertops with the ground up glass...have you seen those before? They turn out really pretty. Anyways they'll take glass but only if you clean it and strip the labels and glue off. Too much work!
