    All right now, before everyone gets their panties in a wad and starts bashing one another, this is a thread for Union Members to chat in. I am anti-union as well, but to each their own. I know people want to come in here and bitch because unions fucked up Twinkies for everyone, but just say your peace and head out. No need for non-union members to tell union members "my way is the right way" and vice versa.

    It was said true below VVV, unions/business have become just like politics where there is no middle ground, ergo it is a bad mix. If they work together like they should they can be good for business & employees a like.

    My interest is in making sure the company I work for remains strong so they can keep putting money in my bank acct so I can afford to live my life. That's my interest. Corporate greed? You do realize that your pension is mostly invested in the stock market so if the corporations are drivin out of business because of labor costs then you have no pension.

    Time to leave entitlement town and come back to reality.

    Bash, whoever you are, I'm not going to get into some pointless argument about whatever it is you believe in. If you're happy with your position in life making your bosses rich, fine, I'm happy for you. I'm sure you're a good employee.
    My statement is based on my observations that the notion that unions are wrecking companies and ruining America is absurd. I support unions though myself is not in one. The reason I support unions is that they are the ONLY thing standing for worker's rights in this world. Given that so many people can be fooled into blaming unions for all their problems is disingenuous and just plain ignorant.
