^How is that not in the way? That cord dangling there would annoy the shit out of me.

Mine is mounted on an angle on the passenger side of the center console up against the seat with it all the way pushed back using heavy duty all weather velcro mounts.

I mount the motor maul and amplifiers in a tool box under the cover of the bakflip. I run 2 gage wire under the truck frame in to the box . I use lmr400 cable. when amp is in the truck. I had to put lead tape around the computer. The tool box has rubber coating on it inside and out. to keep rf from getting out. If go on the railroad tracks that's channel 11 or the superbowl channel 6. And you hear 757 in the big apple tree you be talking to me. 73's

Damn, that's an impressive sounding setup. That dwarfs my puny 2 pill. I don't venture onto the Superbowl channel, bit if I do and hear you I'll wave a hand.

Yes it's a 16 pill . Stomper is a 8 pill . made by some one from the superbowl. I did use a 4 pill to drive the 16 . It went up in smoke. The 8 with a lower dead key will swing that 16 pill. I'm going to get a 24 pill in the spring and see if it f**k with the truck.

Damn. That's some serious power there. I get out ok with my two 2879's, I can't imagine that much juice. But you know as good as me that even a stock radio can get out as well as one modded to the hilt if the conditions are right.

i just got mine in the mail, im thinkingof mounting it on the little coin tray under my fog light/locker button panel. i need to get an antenna and stuff first, but it will berelly easy to hard wire it from that location, and wont need 15ft of wire running above my feet to do it. i have to find an antenna that is almost un-noticable, i dont wanna look like a tool!

Roger that. Yeah, like I said I don't really have the power to run with with the big dogs. I just talk locally to my crew and shoot some skip sometimes. I usually hang out on 25.

Nice base antenna. One of my buddies has a beam and gets out nicely. I just have a Galaxy base and an Antron 99. I use it to talk locally not so much for skip but I have has some contacts from down south. Mostly Alabama and Florida.

I have a antron 99 on the tower in front of the beam. I built the towers also. The beam on a crank down tilt over so I can work on it. I talk on 22 locally here.
