Yeah I've got 1.5s in the rear. That rear only rubbed a little bit at full flex. I didn't need to trim them, but the front and rear had to be even, so. No rubbing anywhere. Can't wait to pro baja some whoops tomorrow hahahah

what have you guys been using to cut your flares so cleanly?

i know a knife works but can easily fuck up...snips work good, but not always clean....

I used snips. The cuts aren't perfect. I'm going o use some thin rubber trim on the cut line to smooth it out. Where did you get yours mrgrimm?

yea guess the trim will help hide any of the small imperfections in cut...

Any local autostore will have them. If not, my first hit with a search found this at walmart which is pretty much the same stuff I used. If you are going to do the inner and metal fenders as well, I recommend getting two of those (36' total)

I used a dremel to cut mine.

There's absolutely no way it will rub. I've for 2.5 inches of clearance on the rear at full stuff. And in the front it'll rub the wheel tubs long before the flares.

It's only a $57 ticket and it looks great when the tires poke out.

How did the flares hold up? We need some snow down this way, now!

Well. I've got the fasten one rear one on better, but there was no fender rubbing at all.

If you look under the flares, there might be the foam pieces still there, just pull those off and stick those back under the flares wedging them in and they will help them from flopping around in the wind.
