Everyone made weight today. I sure hope GSP does more than lay and pray, or Condit KO's his ass! Kampmann vs Hendricks should be fireworks, also look forward to Hominick vs Garza, Bocek vs Dos Anjos, and Stout vs Makdessi.

Who do you have taking the first 3 rounds?

Edit: nevermind, im not watching but i just read that gsp won by decision. Looks like condit landed a pretty solid head kick, was he close to ending the fight?

Yes Condit did put up a good fight. Well deserved re-match but I have a feeling Diaz is next just because of the hate. I hope GSP destroys him worse than when he destroyed BJ Penn.

Made him quit which to me was better than a knockout.

If Penn's corner didn't throw in the towel he would have fought that last round and survived with his rock solid head, but that fight always has me thinking about the greasing incident.

GSP gets yet another decision victory today. This is why I no longer watch his PPV. I never get the feeling he'll score a finish.

you're right, he would have probably survived getting beat for another round, but that doesn't mean it's a good idea.

GSP doesn't go out looking for the big smash win, he's one of the most technical fighters in the sport, and wins time and time again for that reason.

granted it can sometimes be boring as any fight can be, but he did a great job tonight at defeating his opponent and holding his title wouldn't you agree?

I think the problem is that fighters are going for points instead of the finish. It's like watching a baseball game where they only hit singles and no home runs, sure it gets the job done but sure is a let down. I've been watching the Ultimate Fighter and they never look like they really want it. They have only 2 rounds so it's not like they have to be worried about gassing. Griffin and Bonnar both got into the UFC for putting on an absolute war. Went to decision but there was never a moment where they took a rest or looked like they were content with a judges decision.

I understand it's how they make a living and losing is a one way ticket out of the big show. Maybe they could make it one round no time limit fight until a finish :D
