Sorry I missed you guys at the meet and greet, but I had a date I couldn't turn down with this adorable chick. :D
    (Don't get any ideas: She's my daughter. She's 9. I'm armed. ;) )

Rainy at Hollister today. The "old" obstacle course was packed with trucks getting themselves muddy, but we had Hector Heights to ourselves.

Thought I would introduce myself. I am fairly new to NorCal, I've lived in SoCal my whole life and I recently transferred to SJSU this semester.

Welcome. I went to SJSU. I lived for years in a tiny house on E. William St. just south of the campus.

Lol.... wtf. Nothing is good about McDonalds... they're just cheap as shit and maintain some degree of edibleness so I eat it. Leave a double cheeseburger out in the open for a few days...see what happens
    Oh yeah. Nothing.

    ...too much shit to list.
I hit chain control and it wasn't even snowing thinking...wtf is going on. The DOT guy stopped me and did 20 questions on my truck and is it 4x4 and how I was feeling and if I was tired and blah blah blah. I was like...it's freaking raining. Are you kidding me? Then he that's gonna change real quick. He wasn't kidding.

Ohhh it SNOWED last night over the summit. I mean wicked. It was enormous fat ass snowflakes. Driving at 10 miles an hour honestly looked like light speed as the snowflakes flew into the windshield. I drove the over entire summit without seeing a single car in either direction...kinda freaky actually.

Tried to get a quick video of it, but it doesn't nearly show what I was experiencing. It was difficult to know where to turn and when to go strait. Literally....driving by looking at the turns on the GPS and looking for markers.

Lake level doesn't have much snow. It's around 40* this morning. But from what I can see from my porch, Heavenly is well coated.

    Quick video from last night:

Try doing that in thick, thick fog with it snowing like that. Because of how fast the mountains climb from Placerville up to us, it gets super foggy even when raining. You probably went thru some of it too.

The 'tired' question is the CHP's new point-of-emphasis around here. Drowsy drivers.

Glad you made it home safely.

Oh, Kevin, that cranberry stuff rocked!

Thanks man! It's sooo easy to make, and I'll bet it's cheaper than buying it canned. I only paid $5 for the bag of cranberries.
