    So I've done some work I still need to post pics can't on my iPhone though or at least I don't know how....I bought and installed a 12k lbs badlands harbor freight winch and it worked fine until it was under heavy load then it just stoped....typical harbor freight but that's why I got warrenty... So I returned it an got another one...relocated control box under hood and installed a 3/8 Viking synthetic line with a warn fairlead (thanx coil) and spooled it with my truck on a moderately steep hill...ran all 100ft of line with no problems and n nothing got hot wires or winch...so I know Allpro bumpers are a weak link but I got a great deal on mine used from a great guy so modified it alittle to handle heavy winching.... I used huge 1/8x2in washers on the face mount bolts to cover more metal and I made straps that bolted to frame and sides of bumper also.... So the other day I want wheeling with some local jeep guys and a zj grand Cherokee got hung up on a steep rock face so I hooked up to him an winched him about 30ft up a very steep rock face and 1: my harbor frieght winch did awesome without breaking a sweat and 2: my Allpro bumper didn't budge at all... My setup worked extremely well and I couldn't be happier with my build this far....pulling out a jeep is always a good day ....if you all wanna see pics post up a d let me know what u think so far...good or bad or ideas for the future..my trip cross country to wheel Moab is getting closer and wanna be 100% ready......thanx everyone

    ant- ill try to get some i keep my toyota at my brothers shop in ny since i have limited parking at my shity condo...ill try to snap some pics next weekend, wheeling with some jeeps and fj's on some private land....winch is actually incredibly solid...and with a full replacement no questions asked warenty im very happy....i pulled off the steel cable and installed 100ft of 3/8ths syn viking line that coil hooked me up with and i relocated the box under hood...spooled all 100ft up a fairly steep hill and the winch didnt get hot at all and i rescued a lifted grand cherokee from a super steep rock face and it didnt break a sweat at all.... so i can say as of now im 100% happy with my purchase...i also sprayed all terminals and conections with that red batt terminal spray protector...to help keep water off winch connections...

    I have done a few jobs in Danbury, ill be there next week actually. Have you ever heard anything good or bad about that shop EVB? I tried to get a quote from them to install my lift but they kinda gave me the run around. I would like to know if they are any good for future reference. I might need someone to do a cab mount chop for me since i have no welding skills.
