Bellero's slow built (1st Gen)

I got the tires from tire rack, the other parts from Wheelers, URD and Toytec. I have them shipped to the UPS store in Ogdensburg, NY and I go there to pick them up myself. I saved close to a $1000 in shipping and custom fees by doing so.

 

Got the lift installed yet?

 

No, not yet. Didn't have time since I got back from hunting but I installed the All Pro rear bumper tonight. Also installed LED license plate lights.

 

Better pics of the rear bumper. I really like it.

 

I installed the diff drop kit today and was hoping to install the Toytec Coilover as well but I can't remove the 3 small nuts on top of the shock tower!! I already partially stripped one, also tryed to heat it up with a torch but they won't come out! What to do?

Well, it took 2 full days helping Bellero to install all the suspension components. Just to give you a picture, imagine a 2003 exposed every years to our nice Canadian winters with the famous salty roads. This is what we had to deal with.

A big thanks to our persuasive friends sawzall, cutoff, grinder, oxy/acetylene torch, drill bits, WD-40, just to name a few .

OK it sounds like it was a butchery, but the end result totally worth it .

 

I was able to retain the original hitch but that's not a stock Toyota hitch, it's made by a company called Hidden Hitch.

 

Well that pretty much sums it up! Bottom line is that I would have never been able to do this alone in my driveway without Elclem precious help. Big thanks and I owe you one bud!

Just a few final things to do such as finishing my diff breather mod (hose was too big), cut, remove or replace the mud flaps (some light rubbing issues) and raise my front end a little bit to level it out.

You should get your frame sprayed man. That rust worries me haha

 

I know, I'll try to get it replaced by Toyota or a good spray in the worst scenario. It was sprayed by the dealer 2 1/2 years ago.

 

I just got the Mean Green starter I ordered last week to replace my dead starter and I also bought a Odyssey battery as my battery was due to be changed as well.

Installation tomorrow if it's not raining.
