That is awesome. I want to see that bad boy on the truck. Can you duplicate a second one? Did you use AL for the flat part. Well done!

    Thanks!

Thanks! The camper shell is currently on the truck. I'll be removing it in a couple days to put the rack on the truck and snap a couple pics. Yes, the top is aluminum. I think I actually have enough steel on hand to make a second one. I'll have to make a couple measurements to double check though. However, I'm currently out of the aluminum and that may have been a one time find as it came out of a scrap yard. But, I could look for more and if not I'm sure we could come up with something.

Similar design to Travis's but unique still. I am waiting to see the back lash now from the "negative arch" band wagon. :)

Those are nice shackle for a stock replacement. I like that they are greasable as well.

Why do you need that right away? I use the steel cable all the time works just fine. I use it to haul trees up hill sides too when doing tree removal.

Meh weight. If you were worried about weight why put an all metal bumper on? ;)

Got a bed mat finally. Been looking for a used one for a while, but it has been tough with the long bed. $90 shipped from TX isn't too bad.

Crazy* that a 15+ year old 4runner with no engine still can bring in almost $2k (for the right buyer granted). I sold my running/driving DD '65 Thunderbird for $2250 earlier this summer during a financial hiatus/company bankruptcy:mad:

I mean I think syn line is good. I'm just saying unless your truck is let's say where Eric's is modded out and he can Nickel dime the smaller things. Just get the winch and see how much you actually use it then do the other things down the road when your running out of things to do.
