Sooo, over the weekend my check engine light went off...what do you suppose that means?? Still plan on replacing the sensors but it doesn't feel as urgent now as it did before.

It went off because you have cranked it a few times and alot of times it will go off because of this. I bet if you went and had a scanner or code reader put on it. I bet the code is still there. I went to Amazon and bought me a Actron code reader for about $60.00 dollars I believe. Hooked it up just to see if i had and codes on mine because I haven't had a CEL on and I was curious. Sure enough I had codes for both my 02 sensors but no light on. Also my mileage is like 14 maybe 15 mpg so guess what I got to do? Hope that helps.

It wound up coming back on since my last post and I just got my new AF and O2 sensor's in the mail this weekend. I'll stick them on sometime over thanksgivign I hope. My gas mileage has been fine though averageing about 19 mpg's consistently. Probably ran 6 or 7 tanks through since the first time I saw the light come on.

That's quite common for the CEL light to turn on and off for O2 sensors. It happened a couple times on my Tacoma and it happened on my old Dodge on several occasions. If the truck's computer runs through two complete system check cycles without detecting a problem, it'll turn the light off but the code will still be in memory. If the sensor is only bad intermittently, it'll cause this behavior. The light may not have been on long enough for the computer to change the fuel trim significantly enough for you to have a noticeable drop in MPGs. I only had maybe a 1 MPG drop when my CEL light came on for my O2 sensor.

Glad you already got new sensors but just FYI, I got a new set of OE Denso sensors for about $58-60 each + $8 total shipping from partsgeek.com. At the time, it was a better price than I could find on Amazon and WAAAAY better than the $130 each the stealership wanted.

I have the p1135 code on my 02 6cyl 4x4 extended cab and I'm trying to figure out exactly what parts I need to change both o2 sensors. I went on Rockauto and it looks like there are a lot of different options and I want to be sure I get the right ones. Can anybody shed some light on this please?

Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
Need to know if your truck is manual or auto and if it is 49 state or Cali emissions.

It's a manual with ca emissions. I don't know why there are so many variations for this part.
