Is there anybody out there that has a build with a secondary battery bank solar panel type set up?

Working on putting one together right now.

Columbia Overland dual battery tray for 2 Odyssey 1400s
    2 Odyssey 1400s
    IBS dual battery controller
    Sun force charge controller
    Rollable 60w panel

Panel is essentially a solar blanket I can throw on the tonneau when I stop for the day to help maintain charge with the drain from my ARB fridge.

That's what I was thinking. My parts list is looking similar. I'm looking for a good my to lay it all out and store it somewhere under my sleeping platform. I'm just starting. Still in brainstorm and diagram mode.

Too much to list, but enough to get me in trouble. Repeatedly.
    Crom-
Could you get me some detailed close-up shots of the mounts of your cab rack? I'm looking to make my own so I can use some Yakima stuff I already have sitting around, and it looks like yours is about perfect for what I'm thinking.

What did the rack end up costing in all? That flat rack is listed at $750.

Bought it used off a member, so not applicable. I paid $550. I think the price for the tacoma rack is less than the one they have listed for the FJ. Call em. Shipping is pricey though, around 100$

Dave, great pictures, but the link to the original quote by barlowers seems bad. Did he post it here on TW?

Mine no, grandparents yes. Had all of my stuff in storage there and was making sure nothing had gotten lost or misplaced. Easier to set up the kitchen than try to remember everything.

Just a few expensive & DIY things...

I use Torque on my Galaxy S3 with a few different GPS programs; backcountry navigator, (sygic, tomtom, navigon) are a couple others.

I have my old Droid X setup with some offline maps as a secondary GPS unit along side my tweaked TomTom stand alone GPS.

If I ever get lost, I'll be pissed... :)
