never underestimate asian drivers

 

I think he said after they hit it they pushed the gas again while it was in drive instead of reverse and shoved the whole truck forward really far. tweaked the front, just a bit....

 

If I get on the computer it shows up.

 

carbon fiber dash is in..need to do some aluminum work and carpet and the front half is done

What are the symptoms of a steering rack going bad?

 

jack up the truck and shack move the tire to feel for play.

 

Meh..minor stuff i know you still want one....

 

you'll feel tie rods more that way. I know the inners need to be replaced and I bought ones that I thought were correct but this steering that I have is way different then the picture TC shows. The inners are HUGE compared to a stock one. My heims on the outers are brand new and tight so that not the issue either. Wondering if the rack is going. It is not leaking fluid either.

 

Could just have worn out steering rack bushings tho. Adding some play to the rack.

There's a whole list of possibilities.
