I'm sure you do! 70's Orange shag with cocaine and southern comfort vomit won't look quite as sharp in the back of the truck though.

It doesnt look to bad, offer the $175 and see what he says.
As for syn line, tat stuff will cost ALOT for the good stuff, it may save 20 or so pounds but can be up to $600 for 100'. I have been looking at it to put on my warn m8000 and I only want to good stuff, so there you go on syn line.

If you want a warn syn line they can be found around $600 and go up from there. But smitty built and Westin lines are fine for $150-$300. Warn you just pay for the name. I use my winch all the time and the smitty built stuff works great. Like I said I use mine wheeling and for hauling trees.

For sure. I want the super charger but it keeps getting pushed back. Detroit and skids will be first.

A small handful of select mods.
With your bumper you could get a nice AL Hawse fair lead and can the roller fairlead. From the looks of the pics I would make sure it works. He should just be able to throw it on a battery and test it real quick. It might be good to research regreasing it. I might explore this with you as mine is noisy. $175 would be the right price if he takes it. Maybe the middle at $200
The stock XRC8 is 18.5lbs. I want to say that is 94ft. My syn line is 100ft. and weighs 3.5lbs. Not a huge weight saver. Look at the cable and see if it is worn at all. If you want I have brand new steel sitting in the garage.
You would be amazed at how 15lbs. hanging that far out on the end of the truck can rake it.
No big deal. Depending on where you want to mount the control box you might want to get a new set of cables that are longer. Or buy them for me and you can have my nice "newer" ones. I want to move my control box under the hood when I get my in cab winch switch. :D

I am running Viking Syn Line 3/8" - 100ft. with a safety thimble. Pulled a couple of times with it now and it has been great. Including snow drift recoil pulls. I have Deralin rollers on. They have been awesome so far.
You don't want Deralin rollers unless you are switching to syn line too. Then it is a must. :)
