That's a plus!! Especially after they pretty much restarted his heart and I believe they put a Pacemaker in.

Chris knows a thing or two about jump starts :D

I didn't read about his condition but did hear it was 'electrical' which means they could have put him under and used a defibrillator to 'reset' his heart rhythm. Fairly straight forward.

Smith's neurosurgeon didn't clear him for contact-who knows, that could happen today I suppose. But yeah, hopefully Kaepernick got some practice.

Makes me wonder what heart beat he was in. When I did my clinicals at the hospital, I got to "light" a couple people up in AFIB and one that was in a heart block. Those were in the ER.

All three of them walked out couple hours later with a normal heart rhythm.

I could have sworn that I heard on ESPN that he actually went under the knife as well.

Must have been something in the nature of what I did and saw.

I am just glad it wasn't anything serious, especially with the stress he has being a head coach and all...

Yeah Kaep took half the snaps in yesterday's practice. But the rest of the week, Alex took first team snaps

When you're diagnosed by a cardiologist as opposed to a trip to the ER, you do go to a surgical suite in the off chance the procedure doesn't work. Not that I'd like to be conscious for it either :D

I've had two friends have that kind of treatment. Completely fine going forward. There is also a heart cath treatment where they do some work to identify what causes certain problems and cauterize them-no knife, just the catheter-that is pretty cool.

My dad bought a new camera (Nikon D5100) a few days ago and I was playing around with it today. Critique my photos. I'm still learning what all the settings do.

There's literally zero snow at lake level. But hop on the gondola and it changes quick. Actually decent coverage for this early in the year.

I'm diggin' the fall colors and leaves. The colors are really nice! For the last photo I would have set up some rule of thirds (imagine two sets of crosshairs that break the shot up into three blocks, then put your subject on either one of the lines dividing the blocks or put it on the vertex of two lines). I prefer the rule of thirds look, but sometimes it doesn't work. You'd just have to try both and see which you like more!

^^ This :p Seriously dude, you keep your truck super clean!
