    Could be but sometimes a bad muffler bearing will make a "thunk" as well. Also when piston return springs start to go flat sometimes they will slap on the top end but that sounds more like a paintball hitting your bed.

    AIR DOWN MORE DOOD! But yeah thats some really deep beach sand right there...makes it a bit more difficult. How much air did you have? I would say to drop it down to about 13psi. Thats about as low as I go without beadlocks on the Jeep.

    Watching those vids is getting me all amped!

    Anywhoo, I am leaving for Ocotillo Wells in about an hour, bringing the Jeep, one bike for me and one bike for the wife, and some gunz. :)

    I am so ready for some play time!

    If anybody goes out there PM me, if I have connection I will check in, maybe I can bust out the trophy Jeep and we can do some stuff.
