Not everybody... and until I change my mind, Toyota says they will hold off. We have an agreement.

gas is $4.89 / gallon in SF and driving up and down the coast looking for waves to surf is getting really expesnive. if not diesel i guess we should ask for 4cyl with turbos and meaningful gas mileage improvements based on driver USE not indystry AVG

    You have options.

    1. Move out of the bay area.

    2. Sell one of your trucks. You'll have enough gas money for at least a few years. Plenty to find some gnar waves. brah.

New diesel threads should be grounds for no warning perma ban.

And no, everyone does not want them. In fact its a small minority. Would I be against them offering a diesel? Nope. But do I care if they never do? Also a nope.

This thread would indicate that people who want diesel are not in the minority, infact it is quite the opposite

Yes I'm well aware of the thread, what's your point? A couple hundred people on an enthusiast website are hardly a majority of the truck market. Add that to the fact that people are notorious for bitching that something isn't available and then not putting their money where their mouth is when it does become available.

It may not be the best sample, but it is a sample none-the-less. Do you have any factual evidence or proof that people who want them are in the minority?
