Just looking for someone to confirm lift heights achieved with either spring. I have heard and seen different things. I am not talking with top plate spacers or anything just straight shock spring combo... I wanna pull the trigger!

    5100's with Eibach's @0.00
    5100's with Eibach's @0.85

    5100's with OME 885's @0.00
    5100's with OME 885's @0.85

truck is a 12 Dbl Cab TRD Sport.

These are approximate for a double cab 4x4.

    5100's with Eibach's @0.00 = 1.6"
    5100's with Eibach's @0.85 - 2.5"

    5100's with OME 885's @0.00 = ~2.5"
5100's with OME 885's @0.85 = Not advised, could put you over 3" of lift and your CVs will hate you. People have done this as the coils sagged or if they have heavy loads such as a winch or plate bumper though.

This is my setup with a DCSB TRD Off-Road 4x4. The advertised lift was 1.6" on average. And I got ........ [drumroll].......... about 1.6".

Picture (note just TSB leafs in rear):

Sits just about level. Rear is maybe 0.5" higher at most.

See I only wanted about 2" and was told eibachs and 5100's @.85 would be around 2.25... I don't want new UCA's

    I don't think 1.6 will be enough...

884's should give you what you're looking for.

x2. Same spring rate as the 885s but about 1/2" shorter.

Interesting. So 5100s mounted to 885s with an offroad bumper will give you about 2"? Are these the same numbers on an AC?

So 5100's with 884's will give me what at either setting?

Would the 1.6 with the eibachs be basically like doing stock springs with 5100's @1.75?

How hard is it to adjust them? If I went 1.6 and wanted more do you have to take them all apart again to go to 2.5? I am paying a shop for install so....

5100's @ 0 will give you two inches off the bat, settling at like 1.75" (don't quote me on that).

If you go stock spring route and crank em up to the top setting you'll kick yourself....actually your truck will kick you, literally. Its stiff as a dead cat.

Yeah you have to take them apart because all the pressure rests on that spring seat, which rests on the adjustable clip. You have to at least relieve the coil of its duty and this usually means taking it all apart. Shop shouldnt charge much considering its easy as pie, plus you'll want an alignment with the added height so you'd have to pay em eventually.

^^^ are you talking with the 884's I Gould see that? I'd like to hear from someone who hopefully has that setup. I want 2" not 2.5 so that why I am looking at 884's

I wouldn't not crank the 5100's to the top (2.5) but I would go 1.75 and that seems to be a very common setting and people love it on here. Most setting it rides better than stock at that setting.

After talking to Toytec they suggested that I set the 5100's to 0 with the Eibach spring and use there 1/2" top plate spacers to get around 2"

Anyone running this? or think this will work good for me?

Talk to Mattmxracer, he just installed 884's on his Access Cab.

Personally, I'd rather go with the 884's. I have Eibach coils and I think they're a little stiff. It's not bad enough for me to even consider changing, but if I could do it over again, I'd probably go OME.

What Toytec is suggesting will work and you won't have any issues with that setup. The reason they are likely recommending that setup is that the Eibach coils are meant to be paired with 5100 shocks, OME coils are meant to be paired with Nitrocharger shocks. There is no harm in mixing them but from a vendor's point of view, they want to keep like products together.

He was responding to the amount of lift gained with 884's, at least I hope that's the case...

    I have 884's on 5100's set at 0 on a DCLB.
I have been measuring it constantly, but there is not one bit of level ground in my area where I can get a consistent measurement.
I have gotten a measurement as high as 2.5" and as low as 2".
Most of the measurements have been in the 2.25"-2.375" range.

Glad someone asked this looking into OME 884 and 885 also for my 2012 DCSB OR 4x4. I think I'd like to go with the 885 so I get 2.5 at 0. Is the tsb enough to make it close to level? Slight rake up front is fine with me.

I got .25 inch lift when i installed 885x on 5100 at 0 over what the eibach at .85 on 5100 gave me.
