Yes will go right in if you ahve the ECU and wiring harness.

there will be some SLIGHT differences on the body work for mounting some of the stuff. My new body was a 4 banger body and i have a V6 and some stuff was a bit different but nothing drastic.

Everything is back together. This spring I will replace the carpet with a dark charcoal gray option (and then paint the rear cup holder platform) and will definitely take my upper dash panel out and paint that. After that, the entire interior will be blacked out (charcoal for carpet).

I can't get decent pictures of the a-pillars and oh shit handles... just use your imagination

    So to recap:

I took out every trim panel in the truck, disassembled them, either painted or dyed them all, sound deadened the rear wall and both door panels (and strategic areas of the rear quarter panels), installed a new head unit, new front speakers and an amp to power them, then put everything back together.

    Looks great man!!

however..if you were going to take the full dash out..should have just done in then man..its a PITA and you have to take all the dash off to get it off. and the steering column.

Yeah, well the lower dash panels and steering column trim are semi-gloss (from last year's paint job) and it bothers me. So I was gonna take all that out and make it flat black anyway.

I would have liked to not deal with removing the upper dash panel to paint it, but the fairy-gay-gray color is killing me now that it is in stark contrast to everything else being blacked out.

When you say "and the steering column" what exactly do you mean by that? :(

I opened her up to get at the cabin air pressure vent (no such luck) and found some evidence of a fire in some of the foam behind the speaker:eek: I just got it back from the body shop, don't know if it was the body work or what!

    Holy shit.

As far as I know that's your cabin pressure vent to the right (lower portion of the rear quarter panel) of your speaker cubby in that top picture.

Sorry if I gave ignorant advice the other day

No Madjik you gave good advice, I can just get a hand on the vent, there is still no way its coming out through the cab. I might just try super gluing it back on for a temp. fix. Thanks again

The dash is the one reason I haven't planned for a interior color change. No way in hell I'm pulling that just to paint it! Would you not get brush strokes in the paint that way?

What rear bumper is that? I'm looking at getting a plate/tube bumper fabbed and that matches nicely to what I have in my head.
