I just got my 07 TRD off road sport taco (so it comes with the 17/265R) I only have 200 mile on my truck as of now... but I want to get something better and more expensive! what do you guys think you would pay for stock wheels and tires if you were in the market?

Put em on ebay and you can probably get around 500 bucks.

Yes, I agree. I have looked at rims & tires quite a bit on E-bay, and that is pretty accurate.

I got $150.00 for my Rugged Trails on a trade with 1000 miles on them. Was happy to get rid of them.

one4x4taco: If you'd sell them for $500, I'll take them, provided it'll fit my Taco. I think it will??? We need to discuss shipping. PM me if interested. :hungry:

Does anyone know if the disc/drum brake sizes differ from the "Off Road" to "Sport" version? I mean bigger/smaller rotors, pads etc... How will the bigger tires affect my speedometer and odometer readings?

I don't know about that, but make sure that the TPMs will fit in your new rims, or else it will be an expensive switch for you.

I got my 07 dbl cab LB 4x4 2 weeks ago and it came with the 265 65 17 bridgestone dueler h/t's. I sold them on craigslist for $400 after a few days of the listing. I got goodyear wrangler AT/S tires in a size bigger, 265 70 17 and kept my stock 17 wheels. I paid $600 (which was a smoking deal) for the new tires, so it was only $200 net out of pocket for the switch and I am a lot happier to have an all terrain tire instead of the highway tire. The tires fill up the wheel well a lot better too.
