    I hated them also but my fiance's brother's girlfriend cooks them really good. Boil the brussel sprouts for a minute or 2, just enough to they start to soften up, then transfer them into a pan with raw chopped up bacon and continue to cook them in the bacon grease. The sprouts soak up the grease and the results are amazing :D
