well i screwed up this time!!!!! i ran into the back of someone. it was clear, i looked in front of me, and saw them moving up. looked to see if it was still clear, it was, so i went. welll, they didn't go!!! they didn't go (obviously) they were just inching up to see better. well it sucks.

gonna need a new bumper, new front quater pannel on pass. side, maybe new head light, this one is scratched, all kinds of new brackets..... what a mess

Ah it's small. sorry mate. You have full insurance bro? Mind as well get 2 new headlights for 220$ on ebay instead of buying 1 for 270$ That's how my local workshop priced it. I have a right side headlight left over.. but it's blacken XD. Bumper looks fine tho =].

right side sittin in the truck aka passenger side. nah my bull bar didn't do SH|T!! I just missed hittin 'em with it, it hit at my bumper. my bumper going into my truck absorbed 90% of the impact, if i had hit them with the bull bar i would have probably screwed them up. i hit a kia scerento SUV, kinda funny, it is exactly what my wife drives. i scuffed their bumper, they have a painted one, and i left rub marks on it from my bumper that came off when you rubbed on it, and they had a TINY almost unoticable dent i gave them from my headlight i think.

yeah, i got full coverage, but $500 deductable, so i'm not sure when i can get it fixed. real bummer. i told him cuz i was the idiot im glad i got most of the damage, then i thought, no i'm not!!!! insurance is paying for him regardless, i got the 500 ded. i wish i just had the rub marks :)

all in all im lucky tho, he had 2 little kids in a car seat, and they are ok, and his wife was driving. he could have got out all mad saying.. "you stupid mother....... you hit my wife and kids and we were sitting still, you ran in to us you stupid blah blah blah," but he was nice so it all worked out ok.

That truly sucks ! you have one of the nicest trucks on the road, but it can all be repaired, glad it was a note about a bender, and not about a total.

Bummer. As much as I don't like to see bent Tacomas I'm glad to hear no one was injured. I'm sure you'll have it looking better than new again by the time you're done.

yea, sorry about your truck. The only (knock on wood) accident I ever had was a rear-ender,not long after I got my license I was coasting toward a stop light (fiddeling w/ radio) when a guy pulled out in front of me.I hit him @ maybe 10mph max, and he got out screaming holding his neck crying whiplash..at least that wasn`t the case w/you.

Ah, that sucks. Not too bad, though, because the most important thing is that everyone is OK.

Now, personally, I would've been LIVID. However, I'm a bit of a hothead and it takes me some time to calm down. Having said that, I didn't beat up either of the people who've hit me in the last 5 months (1 = drunk illegal alien rearended me; 2 = guy ran a stop sign; minor damage from rear bumper all the way up pass bed side). In the end, it's only a truck. Worse things in life can (will) happen.

Sorry dude, if it helps I did the exact same thing. I hit an old chevy truck with my volvo and I got 100% of the damage in that. Ever since then I never look to see if its clear just at the car in front until they leave.
