    Ok so with the day after thanksgiving sales approaching, I plan on taking advantage of the sale prices and purchase the suspension I want. Pending what the TW suspension experts think, all this will be installed on my stock 2012 Tacoma TRD Sport DCLB 4x4 V6. I'm looking for an approximate 3" of lift, level front and back, no bro lean.

    Icon Stage 5T kit includes:
    5-8450 Tubular Upper Control Kit
    5-8735 Extended Travel Remote Reservoir Coil-over Shock Kit
    5-1100 1.5" Lift Rear Add a Leaf Kit
    5-7805 2.5" Series Rear Remote Reservoir Shocks

    Misc parts to be added:
    UB-FK U-Bolt Flip Kit
    TAC-DR-05 Front Differential Drop Kit
    SS-20-05Extended Rear Brake Lines
    FK29 Driveshaft Carrier Bearing Drop Kit

    Tires:
    Goodyear Wrangler DuraTrac LT265/70R17E1 121Q B on my stock 17" wheels.

    What do you think? I am unsure if the differential drop, carrier bearing drop, and extended brake lines are needed, but it wouldn't hurt to have them right?

    Wish I had the money to do what you are doing:). Not an expert but I have heard nothing but great things about the Icon suspension as well as a few others on here like the Fox and Kings. I think you will be pretty happy with it.

    The Duratracs are a huge hit up here with the local club so I think you will like those as well.

    I'm no expert, but the front diff drop kit is widely recognized to be pointless on the 2nd gens.

    I have had two sets of duratracs, one on my previous truck (ford ranger) and now my tacoma. Best tire I have encountered in all conditions.

    I like my kings but i also have heard nothing but good things about Icon setups.

    I am not running a diff drop in front. I also am only 2 inches lifted. Unless you just want to be lifted 3" for looks I say go with what Icon comes pre-set at (I think its 2" or so) my 2" lift gets me a lot of places and keeps me away from driveline issues. Also drives better than a 3" lift would.

    Nope, no carrier bearing drop or extended brake lines. I have roughly 1.5 inches lift in the rear with the wheelers 3 leaf aal, no overload leaf.

    no prob. Also if you stay under 2.5 inches of lift you wont need new UCA's. I'm running stock still and my alignment specs are great and the truck doesn't wander at all on the highway, tracks straight all the time.

    True. But of you are spending the money on front remote resi shocks why not get the new UCAs? And he wants 3" in the end so he'll need them

    Because i don't need the extra droop travel. The stock uca let my shocks perform exactly how they're supposed to, my shocks arent extended travel. It only gets you 7/8 inch extra wheel travel.

    Got a hell of a deal on a Icon Stage 4 kit that was used for 5 months/5,000 miles from another TW member.

    I would personally move the tires up to 285's. You may night like the spacing between tire/fender

    Do you think my mpg would drop considerably going from 265 to 285? Would probably have to go with an aftermarket 18" wheel too.
