For most of these does the stock wiring harness plug right into the back of the head unit? I'm thinking about getting the Kenwood DDX319 with a C-MOS 310 Back-Up camera.

absolutely not, you need to get an aftermarket wire harness specifically for the truck ( it's generation; 96-04 or 05+) and wire that to the harness that comes with the radio. then one side plugs into the new aftermarket radio and the other end plugs into the factory wiring in the dash

that 87+ harness is the one you need actually. I guess they're the same throughout the generations; hadn't even noticed that before, lol

now that I think about it, my 91 had the same two plugs

got the X930BT installed today :)

might pull it out and readjust it a little tomorrow; noticed earlier that the right side seems set into the dash a little further than the left

really like this unit though! my only complaint is that the bluetooth doesn't connect as fast as the D3 did with the bluetooth add on unit

So just to clarify. Getting the wiring harness from Crutchfield will make it so I don't need to splice or cut any wires?

Mine does the same thing. I have a P4100DVD which uses the stock brackets. Adjusted it a few times, gotten it close, but not perfect.

You will not have to cut into the factory wiring of the truck at all. You'll take your new harness from Crutchfield and connect it to the harness that comes with your stereo; just matching the wire colors together. You can can use crimping butt-connectors, but I always solder mine. For god's sake, don't use those twisty-type connectors... Then one side if your newly made harness connects to the factor plugs in the dash and the other end plugs into your new radio. You basically make an adapter between the factory wiring and the aftermarket radio.

I've looked at all these great lookin radios and was wonderin if OttoNavi & Rosen were the only ones that made a factory lookin radio? I was also thinking about changin out my stock speakers. Do I need to change out the stock tweeters also?

RDNK, those are the only two I see. Personally, I prefer a more popular and more used aftermarket unit simply because of the options to change, modify, and expand the system. For instance, I'm changing the firmware on my Pioneer tomorrow to basically turn it into a newer unit so that it'll give me access to my Android phone via bluetooth so I can play Pandora and stuff right from the radio without even touching the phone. NOT a bluetooth audio stream; it does that already; this will actually give me ALL Pandora controls right on the radio itself! Again, something this unit is NOT suppose to support, but since I can modify it, it WILL support it :)

As far as the tweeters, you don't really have to, but obviously your sound quality is going to improve if you put something better in their place.

Keep in mind, if you're not already aware, you're going to need adapters to bolt aftermarket speakers in the door. I have a pair of Rockford Fosgate 6x9's just waiting to install into my front doors, I just haven't ordered the adapters yet, lol
