Two or three years ago, a lot of workers at different companies took pay cuts, benefit cuts to keep their job. Now that the companies are doing better, do you think their benefits/pay have been restored? or has management just taken the $$$[/QUOTE]

    Evening all:
HA! We gave up wages at Beth Steel. They were to to modernize!
Got Preference stock "GUARANTEED" to be worth about $35 a sh., and some at around $45 a sh. BUT; you could only cash them in when a % of profits went into an account, and it went by seniority.
    Then they went BANKRUPT.
Guess what I got? NOTHING :(
But I'm not alone. A lot of us got S*****D!
Lucky I ended up with a pension!!!!!

Found an intermitted wiper switch for sale on the forum. Told him I was interested. No pics though, so the mods. locked the thread!
Unfortunatelly, the parts listed came at the expense of Sandy.
Hopefully he will post pics. and I can get it.

This was the first mod I added to the Tacoma. IIRC the price was $118 shipped. Real easy to install.

Hellloooooo!! Short work week here, too!

I've been really enjoying the new spa - in it twice a day at this point; 6:30 AM and then some time in the evening.

Got good news and bad news on my left hand - thought I'd dislocated my pinky finger about a week and a half ago and popped it back in myself.

The bad news? I actually broke my hand. The good news? I did a great job of setting the bones myself so I should have full mobility when it heals in 4 to 6 weeks. :p

I think the cloud of curse words I uttered in the two attempts it took me to reset the bones in my hand are still floating in space above our home. ###$!@@&**$$##!!!!!!

It must have been that combat medic training I had before I deployed to Bosnia. Either that or I'm just stupid enough to set my own broken bones.

    Mark:
It was the training. About 15 years ago I hadd to take an intensive Red Cross first aid training program to ba a foster parent. I was suprised at the depth of the course and the rememberance of the classes I took in basic training. The Army sure did teach a lot of first aid that has stayed with me a lifetime.

    Have a safe trip Ken.

We are having the family here for dinner tomorrow. I will start to cook today.

The house was clean but then my son had three of his friends over yesterday afternoon. I think a tornado went through the living room and homework room. ;)
