so i got some spanner wrenches from a tw member. he shipped a day after i pay. i get the package today. the original envelope is ripped open and its in a plastic bag. unless the tw member sent me some paper wrenches, there is not a goddamn thing inside. im not gonna open it till i get it to my local post office and raise some hell.

yea, i know its gonna be an uphill, no win battle. its bullshit. they can freely steal our shit and no one will get blamed or in trouble. all they have to say is "well, the sender should have made it harder for us.....er......packaged it better so it wont fall out." fuck them.

 

or they will say should have insured the package.

 

so theyre a 21st century racketeer type of act. we insure from usps so usps doesnt steal it?

Similar thing happened to me buying LED's from one of our own, envelope was ripped open and the lights that were in pink bubble wrap were ripped open, then taped back up with USPS labels...no wonder that place is going down.
My buddy works for the PO and says it's so ghetto now...they can't even compete with FedEx or UPS.
I hope they go to five day delivery and get rid of the subs that fuck up all of the routes.

Just had this happen to a box I sent to another member. The majority of the contents where there but a large bag of bolts was missing. Still working this out and its been over a week. At this point I dont think USPS will do anything about the destroyed box. I will only ship through them if i really have to and I will definitely put insurance on everything with them.

 

Probably just ripped through the paper while some other box was tossed on them when sitting in a bin. They are probably laying in the bottom of said bin. I doubt anyone tried to steal them. Probably wont get them back but worth it to file a claim.

I got bent over by USPS recently. The recipient never got his package (2 DVDs I burned and sent to him)... it had a return address too.

 

Dude tried to ship wrenches in a flat rate envelope - not even a box. What do you expect??? That's common sense. You have beef with the seller, not the USPS.

 

...but wait, how can this be.. aren't they an organ of the gubmint?
