Ya we talked about it once the weather gets better I have 3/8" and 1/2" drill motors that are corded (110v) as well as others. I will take my time to prep and paint first.

Yeah that would be nice. And yeah ok gonna prep them good too. Gonna sand them, use self eching primer and use dupicolor truck bed spray. Will be good. Put about 4 to 5 cans of that and I should be ok.

Hey guys, advance auto parts has 25 percent off today and tmw plus a 50 bucks coupon for next order. I'm buying a 30,000 tow strap and a receiver with a huge d ring. Saving a ton of money. You guys should do it.

Your welcome dude. Such a good discount. If you wanted a tool box too, you could save like 80 on it and free shipping. Gonna buy some stuff even though I don't have the money haha. Can't pass up a good deal. That and sliders, I'm happy.

My fiance's family goes to the same place every year. It's in CT and I guess it's a huge tree farm. I'll see if I can get the name if you're interested. It's a cut your own tree kind of place. Kendra won't let me bring the chain saw

I have that exact setup. The jack is pretty good. The jack stands are short, they won't hold the truck up by the frame unless you put blocks under them (I took 2 sections of 2x12 screwed together for an extra 3" and it works). The creeper is kind of cheap. Mine completely broke on me.

Im glad you told me because i think i an going to try to pick something up tomorrow. Should i be looking to buy 4 jack stands to install my leaf springs? Two or them set low to support the axle and two for the frame?

I use two stands on frame and the jack on the rear diff. Then you can raise and lower if need be .

I forgot, did you get new leafs or just an AAL? For just an AAL, 2 stands and a jack is fine. To swap the leaf springs, 2 jack stands and 2 jacks can be helpful but you can use the stock jack as a helper if need be.

You might want a taller jack stand
    Sears
The stand features a welded steel construction for stability and a supporting range from 11.25 inches to 16.75 inches.

    Hf

    Capacity: 12,000 lbs.
    Height range: 15-1/8" to 24"

I have the hf stands there plenty tall for anything you need to do.

I believe you said you have a Dakar pack going in.?
Your going to need the height. You have to droop the axle pretty far to get the packs on . And remember to undo the brake lines from the axle . 2 bolts 10mm I think .
