    I mean it's been washed and waxed, but does the inside really need to be detailed? I mean, does it really make that big of a difference on a quote? I figure they're gonna give me around trade-in value no matter what mods I have or what the vehicle really looks like...

    It might not matter. And it was just a suggestion. But the way I look at it is, how long does it take to vacuum and wipe down the dash and door panels? Not long. And if u can walk up to a negotiation, which it still is one, with a nice, clean sparkling car that they look at and go "we don't even have to do anything to this" then it has to make a bigger impression then if it has french fries and dog hair stuffed all in the seats. It also speaks for how u might have treated the truck. Idk I just wanna see this work out for u in the best way possible but u can only help or hurt urself ;)

    It is ur truck, not theirs. U decide what price it sells for, not them. The best part about selling to dealerships is the same part about buying from them ... They all make commission off of vehicles they sell and buy so they WANT to buy ur truck from u. Be confident in the numbers u want, start high and aim for your bottom number, that way u can only be happy if u get any more then that. I believe in u sir! ;)

    I hope you get what you want for the truck, but carmax will lowball the shit out of you. Maybe not, but from previous experiance I've had with them they were some straight dickheads. If they even mention blackbook, get up, get your keys, and kindly tell them to piss off. My wifes '07 Sienna xle loaded was worth $19k trade-in, they said they could give, max, $13k, no more. We walked.
