Tacoma With Diesel Engine Petition - New Version With "No Diesel" Option.

    Good point.
    the numbers really wouldnt work if you had to tack on an extra 5k+.

    However, on the Toyota Australia website the price stays the same for either the Turbo Diesel or the Gas. So over there its whichever you prefer, no upcharge.

    That would be sweet but unlikely if it ever comes here.

    The price may stay the same, but maybe it's more built into the price there, and they have potentially up to $57,000 (U.S. dollars) to work with (that's the price of a double cab, 4x4).

    Also don't know how stringent Australian emissions regulations are.

    Diesel would be great for fuel economy. Drove my friends 335d for a weekend and was great and still got 36mpg going 80mph from NC back to FL, would be sweet to get 30mpg in a Tacoma!

    All I see is a ton of wasted fuel coming out of that exhaust, I'm not knockin it but d**n. My buddy had a cummins all chiped out and stuff he pulled next to a prius and the loser behind the wheel was all pissed cuz of the pollution my buddy's truck caused than he spooled the turbo and that white prius was now half black the best part was that guy's window was down LOL
