    On a better note,

I am thankful for having a wife that has supported me though rough times.
I am thankful for having a family that is always willing to help me as much as they can.
I am thankful for the job I have, and the pay that I earn.
I am thankful for my life, as I have seen those I served with give everything.
I am thankful for all prior service members for giving a piece of themselves for our great nation.
I am thankful for the LEOs who who walk the thin blue line.
I am thankful for the Hose hounds and EMTs that serve our communities.

I am thankful for the food on my plate.
I am thankful for the roof over my head, as I have lived without one.
I am thankful for the new job I will be starting very soon.
I am thankful for my family, my wife and my health.

I am thankful for TW, which i found in my time of need (that saved me thousands in repair cost)

There are many things I could continue to list.

I wish more people in this world would realize what they have and what they take for granted, many people hope and pray for. I have been all over the world and many people there are just happy to be alive.

Think about that last statement next time someone tells you that they need the new Iphone, or that new pair of shoes.

You mean like how we have a day dedicated to buying shit we don't need the day after we're supposed to be thankful for all of the stuff we already have

Didn't see anyone wearing any gloves in the line at Buy More.
Is it still boxing without gloves?

Nahh... Why go that far over the top when pepper spray is perfectly effective?

Mainly, I'm thankful to be sober. I did that at age 28 and wouldn't have seen 30 if I didn't..nearly died more than once from it directly or from the stupid choices I made while indulging.

I'm thankful for my family and the fact that they still speak to me after that idiocy. Particularly thankful that my nephew (who has been in Afghanistan almost all year) is done with his deployment and made it home in time for today.

I'm thankful for the fact that I have a house and a 2010 Tacoma, and that I was fortunate enough to buy them both in such a way that I can still afford to save some $$ and have a little fun like going to concerts and buying CDs all the time. My house may not be a palace and it may need work often but it's mine..a lot of people I know pay more to rent an apartment than my mortgage, and I was lucky enough to keep my payment at $200 for 60 between a good quote on my old truck and getting a lease turned-in with 6500 miles. It really made the best of a bad situation with my 06 Colorado needing half the engine replaced and the crap with the dealer and GM hosing me for about $1500 (which I'm still fighting with them about).

I'm thankful my wife still puts up with my silly ass.
