    short term: paintless dent removal

medium term: switch sides of the garage/driveway so her driver door doesn't open into your car

long term: Get some perspective. People are more valuable in your life than stuff. You need to be able to roll with minor bumps like this without letting it get under your skin.

last month, my wife backed up our fjc into my tractor. smashed the driver side rear bumper all to h#ll. to say the least i was not happy at all. and yes i said driver side, which means she did not even look in the drivers side mirror. woman, you have to love them for there driving skills! no damage to the tractor as she hit the rear tire and the fjc is a easy fix. its the corner bumper pad, price was 180.00 and i have to paint it.

Get them taken out and wrap the bill in a box as her Christmas present. Of she gets pissy let her know she's only missing out on some material things. . .

This is a tough one... could you possibly post up a side by side comparison picture of your truck and wife so we have more to go by?

    Yeah.
I would be pissed and would have done the exact same thing. It's not about it being a "material thing" or "just a truck." It's about just being a dumbass and not taking care of stuff you have worked hard for. My wife understands this about me, especially when it comes to vehicles.

Most women are dumbasses when it comes to vehicles, and some people have no spatial relationship skills. For example, when putting away leftovers, my wife can never tell what size container to use. She ran into the mailbox in her first 4Runner (turned into the driveway too tight and scraped the mailbox down the side), and tore the plastic overfender of her second 4Runner off pulling into the garage.

That said, I know my cars will get dings and dents and I would just leave them. And I NEVER park next to my wife's car.

I back into my garage with my wife parking forward so both passenger sides face each other. That way we never enter the vehicle on the side facing the other. It is a kinda small garage, we have to pull out for the other to get in the vehicle.

My step rails wont allow her doors to hit mine anyway which is nice.

But I'd be pissed too. But you'll get over it in due time.
