Do you have many muleys or white tail up north?

 

I see that's interesting. We only have muleys down south. haha
I guess whitetail are more aggressive though and will drive out the mule deer, but the mule deer can handle extreme climates better so they can survive where the whitetail can't.

It is really rare to see a white tail in my county. My grandpa saw a little buck last year while deer hunting though, but I have never seen a whitetail down there yet.

 

Idaho doesn't have very many moose, so they don't give out very many tags a year.

 

It may seem like it, haha, but there just aren't as many.

The core problem is not being able to see it for myself to judge.

For instance, That 21s is a nice price but being a single row its not going to be as nice as that double row 20. But the only real way to know for sure whether or not I will like the way it casts the light will be to see it in person to make the comparison myself.

It is very difficult to judge from pics.

 

Yea the 21s isn't going to be a crazy light. Great fill light though I should think. Why mine are going on the side.

Your right tho the 15d is more powerful

But where are you looking to put the lights?? For what purpose.

I was looking to supplement the low beams. I guess you could say to fill in the low beams a little further out then the PIAA 510s do now.

I would mount in front of the grill, on top of the bumper. I have exactly 22.5" between the bases of the 170s.

Convert what? The headlights? Not the 170s. They are spots and are plenty for what they are.

 

Mike the 170s are adjustable they can be spot or flood all you have to do it twist the light housing.

 

I knew that and did try them that way. I liked them a lot better as spots, tho I might have to try that again and re-aim to the area I am thinking.

Unfortunately, it isn't easy to switch back and forth. The 170s are awesome as spots, tho i"ll bet Monte is thinking they aren't nearly as awesome as his 240s...
