    Do you run a pre-filter on the opening of the snorkel? That would probably prevent snow and sand from getting in, although may attract moisture I guess. Not sure. Just my speculation. Guess you could just carry the pre filter in the glove box and use it when it is needed. Haha

    i'd be worried that the prefilter get filled with snow/ice and create a restriction...you'd be better off keeping the prefilter out during winter IMO

    i have one coming soon, but mainly for moab :D

    i had something like that on my volant filter in my CAI...worked great for dusty conditions...but it went on my filter that was in the box in my engine compartment

    Don't know the details on these, just assumed they are better pre filters, but would these work to keep the snow and water out as well as filter dust out better?
