Come on dude!!! I dunno if you're being sarcastic or not :p but how can a lift and bigger tires not affect mpg, but you are getting pretty crappy mpg :p

I can easily get 300 miles out of one tank :) but I'm not too happy with my current 17 mpg. I'd much rather be getting 30+ mpg for my current life style (2 more years or so of school)

Look at the bearing cups around the u joint. Grab the driveshaft near each u joint and check for excessive play in the joint.

    Vibration problems.

I ended up having a bent axle shaft. Shook like hell around 40mph. Lifted the rear axle up and put it in gear and I could see the movement. Fixed the problem though.... got a newer truck :D

All the tires were out of balance, only been 500 mes since last balancing.
Said I was going to try one last time, and then I wanted my money back,or a new set.
A "seasoned" tech did it,and I watched . All zeroed out,and tires had 40 psi. Dropped to 32 front,30 rear. And also found out my 25 yo snap on tire gauge isn't good anymore.
75 on hwy, smooth,no shimmy. Imagine that.

Balancing tires is like the easiest thing to do literally...the machine tell you exactly how much weight and where to put it...every time ive done it they have zeroed the first try, they just dont take the time to carefully place the weights exactly where they should be
