What do you guys think of this deal? Its the best quote I've gotten so far. Every dealer I've gone to or called has told me they don't negotiate price. This sounds like BS?

    2013 Access Cab V6 4x4 Automatic

    Paint-MGM

    Options-
    TRD Off Road
    V6 Tow Package
    All Weather Floor Mats

    Out The Door Total- $31,153

    Price Includes-
    $845 Destination Charge
    $579 Toyota Direct Advertising
    $13.72 Gasoline (<---Really?)

^Think the dealer will budge on any of these? Not sure which are legit charges...

    Thanks for any input

When you say out the door, I assume you're including tax, tag and title?

Forget all the stuff. What is the price of teuck before any fees

Yes that is what I meat by "out the door"

$30,806.00 Would be the price before the fees are tacked on. The dealer I'm working with is having to source the truck from another dealer if that makes any difference.

You should be able to do a lot better than $30,806. You can get a DCSB OR 4x4 for less than this. What's the MSRP on the truck? I would be looking at least 10% off that price.

Interesting thread as I sell Toyotas in Idaho at Tom Scott Toyota. Just bought a Double cab TRD Sport w entune myself (2013) Anyway, from what I know having sold a bunch of Tacomas... We will beat a costco deal... Long story short, if a person is dead serious.. has a truck picked out that we have in stock.. we will usually do invoice plus 100 dollars.

Invoice plus $100 is not a good deal. Any dealer is willing to give that. I had truck located and transferred in (2013) for $400 under invoice plus the rebate.

You guys have close to $1000 in holdback plus finance reserve.

If you want to sell vehicles on a forum, you have to make the deal too good to pass up. Just remember, people will have to pay to fly to you and drive the vehicle home.

In other words, please don't just come here and try to hustle vehicles.

$347 for plates and title. No Sales tax in Oregon. The Dealer originally told me there was going to be a $150 "Admin Fee". He made no mention of this in his most recent quote.

That's one thing I noticed reading though this thread. I kept thinking "how are these guys getting double cabs with similar options for less or close to the same as the best quote I've gotten on this truck"
On the build sheet the dealer sent me in an email said MSRP: $31,975.00
The Dealer told me $30,806 is $200 over invoice.

The dealers I've talked to don't seem to want to even entertain any offers other than the price they are asking. This guy told me over the phone. "I'll send you the build sheet with the price. If you like it, you'll do business with us. If you don't, then I guess you wont."

I'll admit I've mostly been just calling dealers to get an idea of whats out there. Maybe when I go into the dealership to check out the truck and they know I'm serious, they will be more willing to negotiate.

I'm in Albuquerque and noticed the same thing locally until I started talking to the dealers in Denver. I spoke to several with Stevinson East and Mountain States being the most agressive for me. I have heard others had good luck with others. I ended up with Stevinson and they delivered the vehicle to me. I know they will be around $30,500 for a 4X4 DCSB OR which has a MSRP of $32,875. Shipping to Oregon should be no more than 15 cents per mile. Also, I got the Toyotacare 7yr/100K/$0 deductible for $890. Which I don't normally get but for this price I couldn't resist. If you want further details PM me. Good Luck!!

I have no desire to "hustle" tacomas on a forum, and am well aware that most members live far away. What I do know for sure is dealers dont want or need to pay people to buy a Tacoma. Rebates vary by region. In our region "Northwest" toyota has not offered anything on Tacomas in the way of a rebate.. or anything in the way of finance at anytime in 2012.. yet every single 2012 has been sold and the 2013's are doing well also.

One of the great things about Toyota as a company.. which works its way down to the consumer.. is that they stay close to original pricing which in turn keeps your Tacomas re-sale value high. By way of example. When a person rolls onto the lot with a 2011 Dodge Ram that they would like to trade in, 8 out of 10 times they are buried in it because they got 8 thousand dollars on the hood when they bought it ( serious.. was there EVER a guy who really paid 40k for a Dodge half ton ??) G.M products are almost as bad and Fords seem to be a little better. Nissan ?? worst of all for re-sale.

So "In other words" as you put it- The idea that Toyota dealers are selling Tacomas for behind invoice minus hold back is completely false. Why would they ?? And thats not me trying to sell Tacomas on a forum.. thats a guy who sells tacomas all the time and gets shopped between other dealerships every day.

'13 Tacoma V6 4x4 TRD Offroad Access cab.

Best offer is 32500 out the door.

Can anyone riddle me why the access cabs are around the same price as double cabs if not more??? its kinda frustrating

Also, how does pyrite mica hold up to scratches?? are the pretty obvious or do they blend in like with white

Any dealers in Nebraska would sell you ANY NEW Tacoma for $500 UNDER invoice (you would need to finance with them). When they sold it at invoice they make about $1000 overall.
