    after looking closer, you are right in that it is actually darker but MGM still.:(

    I think it also has to do with the lighting angle. MGM looks different in different lighting conditions, and light hitting the grille is at a much different angle than whats hitting the hood. That could be what makes the grille look darker.
    You are comparing the grille to the hood. Compare it to the rest of the truck facing forward, and you'll see its the same.

    :confused: Sorry if I offended you.
    I was more referring to the way it looks in the pics, and to the posters commenting on it, not really directed to you. It seems like most MGM grilles look darker than the rest of the truck, including the factory sport grilles.
