They might have had displays out or been taking pre-orders, but it's not even available to order from the manufacturer until tomorrow.

Check the actual availably though. Ships in over a week, store pick up in 3-5 days. Aka, they ain't got them yet.

And it is available for pickup at several other local stores

 

It was "available" for pickup at my local store too, so I ordered it. Next day I get an email "we don't have it at your store but it's on it's way". A couple days later, "we're sorry the product is unavailable at your store." Meanwhile I ordered direct from LifeProof and got it a few days ago. No wonder Best Buy is losing money, never doing business there again.

Unfortunately the headphone jack is useless on mine. Not sure if I got a lemon or what but the headphone adapter doesn't screw in at all. Doesn't even start, and if I manage to catch a thread it immediately goes crooked, i.e. cross threaded. Just sent them a message, we'll see what they say.

 

I was on the Pre-order list with Lifeproof , got the email the other day that I could order , followed the links to the Canadian orders

" We're sorry , Out of Stock "

I just ordered it from life proof with a 5% discount

Finally spent enough time on hold (40 minutes) to get through to lifeproof customer support. They are sending me a new case. Very nice and easy to talk to support person, offered to replace it right away. She said they have had a few of the iPhone 5 cases with this issue so check your adapters when you get it. Sucks trying to get a hold of them though, she said they are just completely swamped with the iPhone 5 case rollout.
