    i would understand that if i was always doing water crossing or some shit but that fucker is basically new & never used, im gonna get ahold of the shop that sold it to me on tue i just thought maybe it would be or i was hoping it would be something simple :( has to be locked up or somthing cause i have power to the control box

    If you don't have it grounded properly, it can cause it to do that. 99% of the time that I've trouble shot a winch, it was a ground issue.

    i checked the ground all seems tight & clean & im still getting clicking noise out of the contractor control box :notsure:

    To completely rule it out, take a set of jumper cables and use the black side and take the winch ground directly to the battery negative.

    same result :mad: it seems like the solenoid is locked up, when i hit either in/out the box jumps just doesnt engage the motor :notsure: i ended up spooling all the rope off so im not running around with all that shit on the front of the trk:rolleyes:

    Well it took nearly all day :frusty: but no CEL anymore. :yay:

    And the clutch pedal feels much better after spring replacement. A little loose at the top but has a consistent feel and always fully returns now.
