I purchased this unit last year and did not choose the bluetooth kit. I started off using the iPod/iPhone cable but after 2 failures, I had to go for the $49.99 bluetooth option. So glad I did!




The bluetooth kit:



Super easy install. I ran the mic up the passenger side A Piller to the overhead console. Out of the way of wind noise and easily within pickup range for clear audio. The sound test went great. And a bonus... Bluetooth Audio!! Great addition to the tacoma.

Every vehicle has a blind spot. Adding those mirrors help eliminate it.

After a very frustrating time, bought a new thumb drive and successfully updated my Entune system from 1.8.4 to 2.1.0 and oh yes, placed my Tacoma World.com decal on the back window

It's pretty bad if you only use the mirrors switching lanes, which sometimes happens for me if something is blocking the back windows. The ones I have, I can actually still see the car, even if its right next to me. It's nice to have that added view.

 

How did you get the update? They said they were going to mail me my update on a flash drive like 6 months ago, no such luck
