True. I would just need to find out what angle they are cut for the tilt up so they match on both sides. I guess at that point I might as well do both sides. It'll probably be down the road though. I need to learn how to weld...

maybe my tire is loosing air and the side wall is ripped need to go get a new one hopefully ill have it fixed by saturday

 

Moving to Utah in January. Im AF so I will be living around Layton area, I ordered my lift and wheels this weekend. Trying to put the lift on once I arrive on base at the hobby shop? Then maybe hit some trails up with some of you guys that can show me around??

cool well glad to have someone new join dang when i read AF i thought you meant American Fork Utah, but ya layton is kinda far from where i live, i live in Orem, Utah witch is like one hour away. I really don't know much about layton area, there is some stuff out there in that area. All i know is that the most popular trails are the ones that are close to where i live. there's rattlesnake trail. and there's also American Fork Canyon, witch there's tons of trails up there, and mostly all of the meets they have down here usually end up going to one of these trails. its not bad though. There's alot of guys that live in that area and more up north that come down here, so you'll be fine.

 

Not somewhere I would go every weekend but for some nice offroading, it be well worth it. Looking forward to everything to do there.

There is at least one other AF guy that hits the trails with us from out there, it really isn't that far. Also if you need a hand with your installs there are plenty of guys on here who would be willing to help.

Welcome, there's a nice mellow trail up in Bountiful. It's a pretty relaxing drive but it's fun.

 

What sq are you working at man? Also if you need a hand with that lift left me know.

 

I'll keep my eyes out for you. I'm in Syracuse, (just west of layton) and I'm up and around the base quite a bit. Good luck and thanks for your service.

 

I aint to worried about the drive. The wife actually told me I have a month to get the lift on..lol Were exspecting our first child in early March. I bought the comple OME w/ Dakars from DSM this weekend with the deal they were having..Im guessing I saved close to $200, and then bought some SCS Stealth 6 wheels, gonna wrap those in 265/70R17 Goodyear Duratracs. I like mellow...lol... Im gonna be in EMS. I am Ammo, should be working Training Mobility for Ammo. I would def love some help, planning on doing it at the hobby shop on base if they have what I need? I will be in the Silver DBL Cab TACO, you cant miss it. All my badges say TACO now.. I been looking for houses in Syracuse. My biggest prob at the moment is I ordered the lift and wheels and they are getting shipped to AZ ( In-Laws) and Ill pick them up in the truck on the way to Hill. I may have to keep all my crap in billeting, or find a garage floor I can borrow..lol Looking forward to coming there, I hear its awesome there....

you can barrow my garage and i would help. but im all the way in orem utah and my garage is not the best out there. but i got enough tools to take out the whole front lift and diffs front and back. i should know, i had to change my whole front lift cause it broke dew to a ball joint snap and i did it all by my self
