I hate Lou Holtz. Mark May is at least saying ND will "have their meddle tested" by an SEC team. At least now we know who the SEC will beat.

Miami has to be excited that REAL college football will be in town soon. It's been a long time since they've seen it.

Maybe in some... The favored team almost always wins the Iron Bowl.

Went to the Iron Bowl yesterday... Enjoyed the hell out of it. Didn't see many auburn fans at the game. Their sections were full of Crimson and White. Doesn't seem very "all in" to me.

    Who really cares, though?

Tough day for SEC haters yesterday... Clemson falls to their rival, who was w/o Lattimore or their starting QB. FSU fans can finally shut up about being worthy of the top 10 after Florida showed them what's up. It appears the computers knew the truth about the Noles all along.

Would have been an even tougher day if Lane Kiffin's stupid-ass knew how to coach football and given his team a legit shot at beating ND... Florida's resume is as good as anybody's, even if they won't be in the SECC. Of the losses suffered by the top 12 teams in the BCS, 25% of them (4 of 16) have come at the hands of Florida. Had ND gone down, I think you'd have a tough time keeping the Gators out of the BCSNC. How pissed would everybody be then?

All of the 2012 Chaos is over now. It's almost like we have a playoff... The best (and only undefeated) team gets a bye. The SECC serves as the play-in game.

Anyway, Roll Tide! Bring on Jawga.

Yeah ND was on the cover of SI this week. I was hoping the curse would set in like last week for KSU. So now we have to hear about how great ND is for the next 5 weeks. Normally I hate the SEC but UGA/Bama will be playing their 2 string by the 2nd half. The game will be ugly.

None yet, but its about to get rolling.
The PI call that nulled an INT early for USC was just as bad. Those stupid SEC refs called more holding calls on one drive than they have the entire year in SEC play. I think in the end the officiating evened out. Clemsons defense played much better than I thought they would, at least against the run. Our D dictated the game and got the tigers out of what they wanted to do.

USC was the better team, espicially up front. This one is so much sweeter because many clemson fans had this game chalked up as a blowout before we even stepped on the field.

When you fill up on cupcakes you arent ready for the main course.

Completely forgot two other SEC vs ACC match-ups yesterday:

Georgia 42-10 over Ga Tech, and VANDY 55-21 over Wake Forest. It's becoming more obvious why FSU was so poorly ranked... Being the best in the ACC is like being the prettiest girl at fat camp.

You summed up the game pretty well except for the last parts...I really don't think many of us felt it would be a blowout...just kinda figured both teams would score a few more points...

As far as cupcakes go...we have to work with what we have...the SEC has their fair share of cupcakes too...many of which you played

Maybe it was just the vibe I got. especially on 104.9, I know that doesnt represent the majority of fans.

The cupcake thing was more about Clemson blowing out crappy teams and fans basing their thought of them doing the same to us because of those performances. And I know this might not have been what most fans believed but it was the idea I got from message boards, friends and the radio. We both played a number of weak teams.

I think there was an huge amount of pressure on the clemson players to win this game. Im sure the LT is so glad Dalton called out JD as well.

    neglect, mostly.
    chizik officially canned.

NC State just fired Tom O'Brien too. im conflicted about it, really liked him, but we need better recruiting and winning seasons. we haven't truly been able to compete with the big dogs of our conference like FSU and Clemson, despite pulling the occasional upset against them. guess this nc state fan just has to break out the  and see who we get.

I'm surprised O'Brien did do poorly at state. He did pretty good at B. C. State hasn't been very good since Rivers left.

LOL no I hate Pitt. My sister in law goes to Pitt and she's such a hipster bitch that thinks she knows everything. She once gave me a lecture on how bad it is on the environment to wash your car. I told her to go to hell. Reminds me of everyone that lives in Oakland.

:anonymous: Time for a coaching change :anonymous:
Fair enough. I didn't expect y'all to play like y'all did.

As far as the Egg Bowl, we need to get rid of these God awful coordinators of ours. If Mullen can't get us 9-10 wins next season before our bowl game, it is time for a new head coach. We had the easiest schedule possible and we still ended up 8-4. And Bo Mullet Wallace played out of his mind. As much as I hated the end result, it makes the rivalry that much better when we get to beat them next year in Starkville.

Now I just want this season to be over
