Nice find Carl. Just take apart the shroud pull the old one out and stick the new one in. Very easy mod and one of the best mods.

Hickory Run State Park Boulder field. The trail actually to it on the right, about in the middle.
There are lots of these around here, although not as large. They were deposited by a glacier.

Evening everyone! Had a house full for Thanksgiving; still do and am enjoying having family here.

I took advantage of the beautiful weather yesterday morning and early afternoon to get our outside Christmas lights up. Today it's been cold,windy and had lots of snow flurries throughout the day so far.

My son and I decided we needed to watch a light-hearted romance so we put "Enemy at the Gates" on the Blu-Ray. I tear up every time Ed Harris takes his cap off and looks at Jude Law at the end of the movie.

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving!!

 

My wife and I saw Lincoln today at the movies. If you have a chance go see it. There are quite a number of strong performances.

He had health problems, due to being gassed, and passed in 1946.

Just to change things up, ammo anyone? Anyone read Russian? It's actually a case of Russian 7.62X54R target-grade ammo. I thought I'd see how it shoots compared to my hand loads.

Mark; the target ammo may be a reduced load. ?????
I can't handload any better than the factory Federal ammo for the 22-250; just cheaper. Any other caliber, I can improve accuracy by reloading.
