    Lots of expensive shit
    These trucks are underpowered with 35s, going to 37s will make it worse. You would need to gear to 6.50s to be remotely useful in the desert. You will go through wheel bearings like crazy. It will wear out your trans even faster. Doesn't seem like many advantages for an extra 1" of ground clearance. Dan Vances truck is on 35s and that truck will out run anything any of us have...

    Agreed, and anything higher than the 4.88s is way too intense for a DD lol. Ill stick to 35s. Like tacokid said, I thought about it only to stuff the biggest tires possible with 2.5" of lift :anonymous: but I didn't think it would be that bad on all the components.

    4.56 is fine if you're not caged in the 2rz, even higher like 4.10 would be ok with 33's.

    5.29s if you don't care about mileage or street ability. Gets you into 4th gear more often. I've run 4.36, 4.88, and 5.29 in my race truck with an extremely built 22re, if I could go higher I would but I'm still running the T100 rearend.

    Probably an extremely stupid question and I'm guessing it won't work. But is there any way to get LT leaf springs without going full LT on the rear and just getting limiting straps? I really don't have the money to go LT in one shot.

    me too.... id love to work with a customer that wanted to do that combo!
    i think it would do quite well , but its still limiting the bump travel unless the shock is smaller than 14.5" compressed. but you do get the advantage of the spring under leafpack and a very long lasting leafpack at that. when i was running the j-66 soa pack i was getting the springs redone every 6months or so. ive been on my same sua leafpack for about 3 years now! the extra money spent is worth it in maintenance costs alone! and less headache as well
