So are you saying, lift it and put larger bump stops in to keep it from stuffing so far into the wheel well? I know there's lots of lift information on this board and I've been reading much of it but I must have missed that part. Makes sense though. One of these days I'll have to try and make a meet so I can check out some of your setups in person. I don't have huge aspirations, but I'd like to do something like a 2-1/2 - 3" lift and some bigger tires. Probably some sliders, and then maybe even bumpers down the road a bit. I'm not interested in creating a moab rock crawler rig, but I like to be able to go where I want to.

Yup I'm on baby duty. Been making food. I made a home made Terence bread pizza with garlic green peppers and peperoni. I made a home made cole slaw, and for dinner I'm thinking something with an Alfredo sauce. :D

No more than a bag of fertilizer and some diesel fuel which are both readily available to anyone.

    I'd look into these options.
    A. OME 3 inch lift.
    B. billstein 5100's on all 4's with the eibach springs up front and an aal in the rear.
    C. Toytec ultimate lift.

All will let you have 285's.

I like the clear. And the amber corners kinda rock it JDM style.

Ha! Show that picture to my wife and watch her go into a panic attack before your very eyes! :D

We had a white water rafting trip some number of years ago and due to a perfect storm-like series of events yours truly almost bought the farm in a very real way. Our guide had been a guide for over 15 years and said that that was the closest he ever came to losing someone. My wife was clear of most of the danger but got a little bit wet and lost her shit. lol Ever since then she refuses to raft ever again (I'm pretty over it too) and also has panic attacks if the conditions are just right. Never had them prior to that experience. Hell, you would think it was her who almost got strained through a 2' gap between two giant boulders underwater. :p

Lmao yeah The wife and I do rafting as a sport. I've seen some pros with 15 years never get back in the water after a bad experience. My crew two years ago didn't think I would raft after that year. I about died on a trip, but doing it for sport I knew my time would come. Hope it's a long while before I get the feeling again because I'm not planning on stopping!

Yeah, be careful out there as much as you can. You can prepare and try to be safe but in the end the river owns you and more powerful than most people can grasp. If you're familiar with the Poudre, the spot I almost bought it on was 'Twin Pin'. The raft in front of use got stuck on top at an angle and our guide's bright idea was to cross from the far left (a bunch of rocks littered the river on the right due to low tide) all the way across to the right, pick up speed to 'blast them off the rocks' and then turn back left to somehow avoid it ourselves. Needless to say that plan failed and we were high-side right before we know what happened and over. I popped out of the water into blackness and began walking the raft to the edge, found it, lifted it over my head to see daylight and that's right when I smacked into the rock. The guides were reaching for my hands to pull me out with huge eyes and all I could say was for them to get the girls out first. I could tell from the tone of their voices that I was in more trouble than I thought when they told me to grab their effing hands. Once up on top I helped to get everyone else out who was harmlessly passing beside the boulders towards the center of the river and they explained how dire the situation really was as had I gotten to the center of Twin Pin the current would have pulled me under to where the gap between the boulders was and that would be it for me as you're not fighting against that much force to pull a person out. Crazy stuff.

Plenty of class 5 up that way and when this all went down the river was really low so most class 4's were upgraded to 5's and 3's to 4's and so on. It was a fun trip but I think I'm pretty much done now too.
