I run 1/8 nitro and mod SCT and I'm fine but with the bumpers and size of the SC trucks, 1/8s have a harder time breaking them. That being said, when I know someone isnt good, I pull my truck off the track when a 1/8 gets on the track, not worth it lol

I think you should throw an 8.5 in it because faster is better!

No one makes a real looking body any more. Used to be able to get a Ford, Chevy, Dodge, Nissan or Toyota for stadium trucks. I've got the last Chevolet body in the world (well maybe) that I'm just saving, already painted.

I have a raptor body on my slash. Did a rush sloppy paint job but I've seen Chevy and ford body's. Proline makes a tundra body. I'm thinking of getting one of those next and spending time to paint it right like the bug. nu9yhamu_735a39fd0ed294737d2997448698544d684e822c.jpg

ok, I know now I never should have started reading this thread.... and I hold all of you personally responsible for the consequences.

Decided I want a buggy or truggy, 4wd just for play, no racing. Wooded trails, the beach, etc. Looking for the good, bad and ugly lowdown on the Kyosho DBX VE 2.0...

Alternate suggestions in a RTR in the same price range?

So I screwed up when I ordered batteries for my starter box.. I ordered 2 2/3A packs that are 7.2V 1600 mah nimh packs. Will this work in a starter box where each battery connects to its own brushed ~23turn motor? The box normally takes standard RC packs, I can go through the return process through hobbypartz and get some 2000mah nimh rc packs but if it comes down to fitting the smaller packs, i dont really care too much.

I think I'm done with dualsky electronics. 2/2 of my escs have burnt out. first was a sensor board and the 2nd appears to be the same based on symptoms. Both happened since July.

I've got a Tamiya Mini FWD Chassis with upgraded suspension and wheels that I used to thrash off of anything. I need a body for it though as the original is in a million pieces .

Took vid with my Samsung of this the other day
