Please insure you put the spacer with the D on the driver side and the P on the passenger side. If its still a little off you can put a washer on the lower side. might just need to give it a good pull on the lower side. You should be able to get it perfect if you play around with it.

Should have them in a couple weeks. I can start taking orders now so I know how many to make and no one misses out. As for the other skids possibly after Xmas.

I figured since that we are at page 21 in this thread, and there has been a kazillion requests for pics of these very elusive creatures, I went out at night and caught a few on my game-cam.

    Enjoy...

Now where are the pics of those that are installed?

    Common' guys!

I adjusted what I could, drivers side sticks out a lil further... Only person that will notice is me... just being coordinated enough to get the dammed things in was a bitch, even with a second person to hold it in place, lost the washer like 5 times. Totally forgot to take pics, Sunday=49ers override my brain

Drivers side sticks out a bit farther but like I said I'm probably the only one who would notice. This thing is nice and sturdy, and glad only 2 bolts were taken off and all other mount points reused.

Are the spacers behind the skid plate the same size? It looks like it's bent outward on the drivers side.

It looks like the drivers side just needs to be pushed back a little more. Have your tried loosening all the bolts and pushing the drives side back or possibly pulling the passengers side forward?

Looks good. A lil paint in the TRD might make it look better.

Just received my black one and am painting the TRD white with a paint pen. How does the paint hold up? I'm probably gunna put a least 3 clear coats over it.

Post pics when done. The white on the black will pop.

Got mine in the mail yesterday and plan to install it today! It's gonna look awesome! Still not sure if I want to paint the TRD or not. I'll have to see what it looks like in solid black first.

Got it on yesterday. It took about 4 minutes to get the first 3 bolts in..... but the damn factory skid plate would not line up properly for #4 so I couldn't get the bolt to thread. In the end I just drilled out the factory plate's bolt hole to make it big enough to not be a problem. Matt's skid plate looks great and is super solid.

Got it installed and it looks GREAT! I had a little trouble getting the driver's side bolt in on the front. The new bolts are longer than the stock bolts and there was a little bit of slop over weld on the backside of the hole. I used the old bolt and threaded it all the way through to break off the excess weld and then it worked just fine.

I'm thinking of painting the TRD but not sure what color?

The color of your truck would look custom.
